Ludwig learned a tough lesson when he stuck his head thru the fence drainage block.

Sigmund tried to warn him, but you know how the kids never listen to you.

Here is the drainage block after the extensive hammer and chisel rescue operation. Ludwig was really calm thru the whole ordeal, but refused to stick his head thru here again for a staged photo op.

Here is the temporary Ludwig anti-escape barrier, until I can replace this drainage block.

Even Wilhelm, I think, learned a lesson to look up to and listen to your elders. Will it make a difference in his future behavior?



Hey! We aren't the ones in trouble here. Ludwig is! Can't we come inside, where it is air conditioned like the way that Mother Nature intended it?


Ludwig's excuse that he really wasn't stuck there and that dog just really looks just like him, is not being bought by anyone. So now he asks if he can be forgiven and are there any snacks that he can have, now that he has confessed to his sins? Snack donations from all sources would be warmly received. How can you resist this look?
